Organisers of Executive Escapes are celebrating the conclusion of their first business retreat. The leisure + business event, held from 4-8 October on the beautiful Mediterranean Island of Malta, is being hailed as a resounding success.
The getaway saw delegates from across Europe, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Germany, South Africa, Jamaica and the Czech Republic, just to name a few, come together to enjoy the unique concept and make fruitful connections.
During the 5 day trip, delegates joined international speakers including Tony Zahra, Chairman and founder of the Alpine Group, Simone Vincenzi, the Experts’ Strategist, and Leadership Coaches Naggib Chakhane and Claudine Reid MBE, alongside many others, to take part in a 1 day business conference as well as a morning networking Masterclass.
Topics such as marketing and PR in a digital age, principles of leadership vs management and digital transformation were just a few of the topics covered during the conference and masterclass.
Of course, there was much more than business during Executive Escapes. Alongside the chance to network and find out more about potential business opportunities, delegates were given the full VIP treatment, with leisure activities such as an island cruise, sightseeing day in the beautiful city of Mdina, a black-tie dinner and stay in a luxury spa resort.
Travel blogger Tina Benson, from, justasktina_travels, wrote:
“As a blogger, my intention was to simply observe the inspirational speakers and delegates… I didn’t for one moment think I’d end up participating with, sharing knowledge, and learning from all those present at Executive Escapes. Yet here I am, returning back to London with huge learnings to take home both professionally and personally”. Tina Benson
Back in the UK, Catherine Labinjo, creator of Executive Escapes, says, she’s thrilled with the feedback she’s received following this inaugural business and leisure escape.
“To say it was a success is an understatement, not because of the execution of the programme but because of the deep connections made and networks strengthened by all who attended; this is what Executive Escapes is all about and I look forward to doing it all again in 2019”.
